A brief enrollment at Film Department at Columbia University after graduating from National Taiwan University, where I-hui Lee got her BA degree in History, she shot her first fiction, The Menarche (2019), and was selected to Hawaii International Film Festival and Taipei Film Festival in short film category. Her films concern human ethics, time and memory with distinctive visual and narrative styles.
